Are we making a difference for the better in the lives of our community members?

Are we having FUN doing our jobs? How are we nurturing our happiness and the happiness of others?

Are we listening to our colleagues, caregivers and the persons that we are providing wellness and health care services for?

What's our focus? Are we nurturing our lives with good books, good nutrition, meaningful social relations, not hurting or harming anyone, but rather...

Are we co-creating a better world for ourselves and for others?

The Starfish Man

One morning at dawn, a young boy went for a walk on the beach. Up ahead, he noticed an old man stooping down to pick up starfish and fling them into the sea. Finally, catching up with the old man, the boy asked him what he was doing. The old man answered that the stranded starfish would die unless they were returned to the water. "But the beach goes on for miles, and there are millions of starfish," protested the boy. "How can what you're doing make a difference?" The old man looked at the starfish in his hand and threw it to safety in the waves and said to the boy...

"It makes a difference to this one."
