[KJW #024] New Website - ERT, Elder Recreation Therapy

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

WEL is pleased to be able to share with you our new webiste www.elderrecreationtherapy.com

The information shared in this website is available in English and Spanish. ERT is about making healthier life style choices by finding purposeful, meaningful, fun and appropriate programs and activities (interventions) aimed at helping elders, not necessarily during an illness or with a disability, improve their quality of life; psychosocial, physical, spiritual, mental - whole person wellness.

Our approach is based on a whole person-centered wellness program. ERT helps elders and everyone to take a more inclusive, fun and pro-active role in their wellness and healing.

I believe that our elders and everyone who takes a closer look at and adopts some of the systematic and planned interventions, will experience meaningful and positive changes in their quality of life. The interventions are designed and tested in the practice of
"Clinical Therapeutic Recreation For Elders" , a profession that did not exist prior to my work with ERT.

Learn more about the ERT vision, services, continuing education, programs, seasonal interventions, photo collages and programs for communities where elders live.

Please visit our new "Guestbook" with an interactive map of the world awaiting for you to add your name, a message and a photo. Let's hear from you...

Peace be with you!
