"My mother and I stood beside a grandmother at the zoo, waiting for our face to be painted. A little girl looked at me and said, "you've got so many freckles, there's no place to paint." A grandmother knelt down next to me and said...
- "I love our freckles."
- "Not me," I replied.
- "Well, when I was a little girl I always wanted freckles," she said, tracing her finger across my cheeks. "Freckles are beautiful!"
- I looked at her and said, "really?"
- "Of course," said the grandmother. "Name me one thing that's prettier than freckles."
- I peered into the grandmother's smiling face and softly said... "Wrinkles grandmother... wrinkles."
That moment has whispered something to me ever since. When I look at others with the eyes of love, I can see beauty.

Mrs. Duffy's class surprised me with a beautiful gigantic thank you card, very creative, made by the kids and their aids. "Unemployed Angels" all over the world... awaiting patiently for meaningful assignments.
